EmuRock/Hollywood Bowl

Victoria Range, Grampians 17 Nov 2018 — 18 Nov 2018

Ever wanted to climb Eureka Wall but not quite there yet? Well look no further! According to the famed Joe Goding, Emu Rock is “like Eureka Wall, but with loads more jugs”. This trip will visit two crags in the Victoria Range which provide great trad climbing. As Emu Rock is north facing, we will be hoping for cooler temperatures.

The two cliffs combine to provide many of the Grampians long middle-grade classics. This is superb and unlikely face-climbing at its finest!

We will be camping at Buandik Campground, which has Parks Victoria camping fees.

This trip is for intermediate and advanced climbers comfortable in the 14-17 grade range. Check out the Guides on theCrag for more details.

Please contact the Trip Leader, Rhys Boyar, prior to the trip to find out more information about this trip. In the event of temperatures too hot for comfort at Emu Rock, climbing at other crags will be possible.
