Dog Rocks, Mt Alexander Daytrip
Dog Rocks, Mount Alexander • 22 Sep 2018
Dog Rocks at Mount Alexander offers a good range of granite climbing with very easy access. There’s a variety of crack lines to get your jam on, whether you are new to crack climbing or after a challenge. There’s also slabs to slither up, some face climbing, and throw in a chimney for good measure. This trip will give you the opportunity to try a variety of climbing styles and maybe learn some new techniques or skills while you’re at it. Climbing on granite always provides learning opportunities!
As well as great day of climbing, Mount Alexander’s environment rises above the surrounding landscape and gives the opportunity to learn a bit about the region’s rich natural and cultural history.
This trip to Dog Rocks will provide climbing opportunities for all experience levels. Beginners are welcome on the trip, however beginner positions may be limited.
It is essential to contact Josh prior to the trip to secure your place.
