Twilight @ Camels Hump – Part 2: Back Wall

Camels Hump, Mount Macedon 21 Feb 2019 6:00pm

Why not take advantage of the long summer days, daylight saving and climb in the evening and the coolness of Camels Hump at Mt Macedon? The plan is to start in the evening and climb until dark at Melbourne’s premier summer crag.

On this second twilight trip, we will be climbing on Back Wall, at Camels Hump. It is a very user friendly crag with sport climbs ranging from 9 to 22. The crag is 20 metres high with all climbs within close proximity. Leave your rack at home and make the most of these daylight saving hours.

Ever wanted to try Sports Climbing but the grades are a little out of your reach? Then this is the trip for you.

This trip is suitable for beginner, intermediate and advanced climbers, but beginner numbers are strictly limited. This crag is ideal for those beginning to lead sports climbs.

If you are interested in joining the VCC on this trip, please contact the Trip Leader, Peter Upton, to secure your place. Places are VERY LIMITED.
