Wolgan Valley – Easter

The spectacular Wolgan Valley is set within the rugged Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area. The cliff lined valley is full of rock climbing adventure and has a mix of classic shear faces and crack climbs. It is the intention of the trip to spend the week before Easter at the Wolgan Valley.

Booroomba Rocks is Canberra’s equivalent to Arapiles and is home to the tallest traditional climbing routes in the area. Booroomba Rocks is a granite climbing area in Namadgi National Park known for its long slabs. It is the intention of the trip to spend the Easter weekend at Booroomba Rocks.

Both the Wolgan Valley and Booroomba Rocks are considered adventure climbing areas. The Wolgan Valley has intermittent rock quality within a wilderness environment. Booroomba Rocks requires a strong lead head. The trip is suitable for experienced and competent climbers. Places for less experienced climbers will be limited.
