Parks Victoria notified us of an upcoming goat and deer aerial shooting project.

The planned activity is for 6 days of aerial shooting between the dates of

June 22 and June 28, 2019.

The objective of the aerial shoot is to reduce populations of feral goats and deer in remote, arduous terrain to protect fragile rocky knoll ecosystems, Aboriginal rock-painting sites and herb-rich woodland areas. Ground shooting operations have been undertaken in May 2019 in more accessible areas.
